
To terminate an employee due to redundancy, the employer must demonstrate that they are experiencing significant financial difficulties and substantial losses. The Industrial Court has ordered 4Fingers to pay RM309,000 to a former employee for unfair dismissal. The court found that the employee was wrongfully terminated and awarded compensation for lost wages and damages.
