The Federal Court has reinstated RM95,000 in awards to 291 lorry drivers who were unfairly dismissed by Yinson Transport (M) Sdn Bhd.The company had failed to remit Social Security Organisation (Perkeso) contributions totaling RM705,150.10 for these drivers between January 2011 and July 2018.The court found that the company’s actions violated the Employees’ Social Security Act 1969, leading to the reinstatement of the awards.
